Rev. Christopher Thein Htaike – Myanmar

More than five years ago, I was undergoing training in a church. During that time, I saw people who had graduated from Tung Ling Bible School being used mightily by God, and I had a dream and a strong desire to study in TLBC  too. In 2007, God opened the door for me through my bishop, who asked me if I wanted to go to TLBC. I applied then, but I missed two terms in 2008. I prayed, desperately asking God why I had not been able to go to TLBC. God knew my heart’s desire and answered my prayer, and now I finally see this dream being fulfilled. I thank God for answering my prayers and granting my desire to attend TLBC.

I wanted to study at TLBC because I want to be well trained as a pastor to serve the Lord and to meet the needs of the church in the various aspects of ministry.

God is truly leading me into a new season. This is a time of new beginnings for me, to launch out and to start operating in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. TLBC has also given me an opportunity to meet new friends, experience a different culture, different life situations, different kinds of teachings and different forms of worship. These new experiences have challenged me to believe God for new direction and greater heights in my ministry.
