Rachel Ong currently serves as Chief Executive of ROHEI and has been in learning and development since 1994. Founded in 2007, ROHEI sees to 60 full-time consultants in Singapore, and at present offices in Beijing and Manila. ROHEI exists to create inspired learning experiences to inspire hope, joy, courage and purpose in the global workforce.
ROHEI has been recognised as No. 4 Best Small & Medium Workplaces in Asia in 2018 and Top 3 Best Workplaces in Singapore in 2017 by Great Place to Work Institute, as well as Best Corporate Training Provider in 2017 and 2015 by HRM Asia.
Rachel sits on the SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) Training and Adult Education (TAE) Skills Council, giving input to help transform the TAE sector of Singapore.
She is the Chairman of Trybe, a youth development entity that has been accorded Institute of Public Character (IPC) status in Singapore. Since 2001, Trybe has partnered over 150 institutions and reached over 180,000 youths in Singapore and Thailand. Trybe has also been appointed by the Singapore government to manage the Singapore Boys Hostel as well as the Community Rehabilitation Centre.
Rachel has shared on corporate governance, people development, building organizational capacity and capability, growing productive work cultures and sustainable businesses, at international conferences, engaging with international audiences in over 20 countries.
An alumna of the Harvard Business School, Rachel holds an MBA with INSEAD and Tsinghua University.
