MICAH 4: 2
COME LET US GO UP TO THE MOUNTAIN OF THE LORD...THERE HE WILL TEACH US HIS WAYS SO THAT WE MAY OBEY HIM FOR IN THOSE DAYS THE LORD'S TEACHINGS AND HIS WORD WILL GO OUT FROM US
Mission
For every believer to be disciples of Christ who are affirmed in their God-given destiny and transformed into Christlikeness for every good work.
Vision
- To bring you to an experience of a personal SPIRITUAL RENEWAL in the Lord. We learn that it is the privilege of every believer to hear God’s voice. Success is defined as humble obedience to God’s Word. We learn the value of scripture as a foundation for all aspects of the Christian life and develop the discipline of studying the Word. We learn how to engage the Holy Spirit and allow Him to do a renewing work in each of our lives. When our pride is broken and when we are open and honest before God and with one another, our hearts are then ready to receive His new impartation.
- To provide a learning environment and help build maturity in the handling of relationships and emotions, which is another aspect of SPIRITUAL REFRESHMENT. The quality of your relationships with fellow Christians and the ability to engage meaningfully is a reflection of your relationship with God Himself. As you refresh others, you will be refreshed yourself. At TLBS, you can experience the sampling refreshment of community living, fellowship, and spiritual bonding.
- To bring about SPIRITUAL RESTORATION and passion for the work of ministry. You will experience first-hand the leadership principles taught by seasoned and proven Ministers of God. This interaction will broaden and expand your capacities to further develop your leadership skills. You will identify your gifting and how it will converge with your calling. You will learn that the biblical model of leadership is about servanthood, rather than lording over others. It is the restoration of your prophetic calling and a priestly function to serve others in the church, community, and city.
Our Core Values
The values we embrace determine our behaviour. Tung Ling Bible School (TLBS) seeks to cultivate a set of values reflective of a person in Psalms 1:3 That person is like a TREE planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither - whatever he does, prospers.

The acronym TREE represents our core values.
TRUTH bringing TRANSFORMATION
Integrity in the Word is paramount. TLBS is a place where we uphold the truth and the Word of God is taught in all honesty. Integrity in the Word consistent with our behaviour is desired. Walking in the truth of God brings forth a divinely inspired transformation of lives. We want to be known as a School of TRANSFORMATION. The Word of Truth and the Spirit of God has the power to transform. Let us be diligent in rightly handling the Word of Truth for Transformation.
RELATIONSHIP and RESULTS
TLBS places a high value on the relationship with our Students, Alumni, Faculty, Board Members, and Donors, sending and supporting Churches, Pastors, Leaders, and Vendors. We desire to see results in all that we do, but never at the expense of a relationship. In all that we do or deal with, we consider the relationship factor. In so doing, we can achieve a mutually satisfying result. Our relationship with one another matters.
EXCELLENCE in every ENDEAVOUR
TLBS is poised for excellence. We desire to go the extra mile to love, reach, care, comfort, and serve, even in the smallest of our endeavours. In every aspect of our organization, there is room to be the best that we can be. In the classroom or out in the field, we must demonstrate and exemplify excellence, because excellence glorifies God.
EMPOWERMENT through ENGAGEMENT
TLBS is a place where we engage the Holy Spirit as the divine source of empowerment for spiritual service – rightly handling the Word of Truth; in worship and relationship; and in works of service and ministry. In teaching the liberating truth of God, we encourage every believer to be filled with the Holy Spirit and be endowed to serve in their God-given capacity. We desire to see Students, Alumni, Faculty, Management, Staff and Board Members who will continually be led, enabled and empowered by the Holy Spirit in their lives and in service.
